EDC cartridge is a part of remote/contact (shooting) stun gun. This cartridge transmits high voltage impulse on distances of 4.5 meters.
When you press FIRE button on the stun gun, the cartridge shoots an attacker with mini probes. These probes can cover the distance of 4.5 meters and are connected with the cartridge by a thin wire.
When the probes reach the attacker, the same button is used to send an electric impulse through the wire.
The attacker cannot get away and interrupt electric current, because the electrodes are firmly attached.A shooting stun gun, in distinction from a contact stun gun, has a socket in the front part for cartridge mounting.
Cartridge should be placed in the socket between the electrodes and turned clockwise up to the stop at the electrodes. Cartridge is triggered by an electric arc between the electrodes.Cartridge contains conducting wires and probes which are triggered by the stun gun button. Distance to the object should not be more than 4-5 meters. Using the cartridge at distances less than 1 meter is strictly prohibited!
This cartridge is disposable. When the attacker received an electric impulse, you must remove the cartridge from the stun gun by turning it counterclockwise and pulling away from the socket.After the shooting you can either reload the gun, or use it as a contact stun gun.
